俳優という仕事は虚構の世界をあたかも現実のように見せるという意味で一種の嘘（うそ）つきかもしれぬ。もちろん詐欺師とは違って、観客に残すのは夢や希望である。米俳優のロビン・ウィリアムズさんが亡くなった。米国の強さや頑固さを体現する役者は大勢いるが、ウィリアムズさんはそういう種類の俳優ではなかった。
